Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.




Gilgandra C.W.A Markets | 1st Saturday of Every Month

Held at Gilgandra Community Plaza in Miller Street. From  9am until 1pm.

New and Pre loved goods | Cakes | Jewellery | Many more various stalls.

Coo-ee Lodge Ladies sell Bacon & Egg Rolls for $5 each.

All stall holders welcome - cost $5.00 per table.

Cumnock Markets | 3rd Saturday of Every Month

From 9:00-12noon at Crossroads Park Cumnock (opposite General Store)

Next Market: Saturday 17th April 

With lots of fabulous country chooks, fresh cakes and biscuits, jams and chutneys as well as stalls with beautiful craft items.

One of the ladies is making cloth masks which she is selling at a reasonable price. Extra stalls are welcome.

Cumnock markets are a registered COVID-Safe organisation and all required protocols will be followed.

2021 Michael Egan Memorial Book Fair | Dubbo Rotary Club

Michael Egan Memorial Book Fair run by Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie will be held on Saturday May 1st from 8am to 4pm 

Sunday May 2 from 9am to 1pm in the Centenary Pavilion at Dubbo Showground with Gold Coin entry.

Last hour on the Sunday from 12noon to 1pm all you can carry for $5.00 

All proceeds to RFDC Dubbo Support Group and cancer research at RNS Hospital. 

This event will be Covid Safe.

Inaugural DEG Photography Competition 2021

Organised by Dubbo Environment Group Inc for Amateur photographers resident in the Orana Region; Gulargambone to Cumnock, Nevertire to Goolma.

Entries are encouraged from anyone interested in showing the environmental beauty, worthiness or issue of a subject.

Sections for competition are:-1. Under 19 years. 2. Open

Each entry will compromise two photos, and may be accompanied by background notes of up to 20 words, with entry 

Entry Fee:- $10 for Open section but only $5 for a concession or Under 19 years. 

Entries can be made through DEG Contract: deg.photocomp@deg.org.au 

Multiple entries are permitted, photo-shopping to be minimal.

Facebook will be used extensively for this Competition, for promotions and exhibition.

*Entries need to be emailed to DEG via jpeg by Monday, April 26.

*Winners announced on May 6th

Warrumbungle Wings & Things

Warrumbungle Wings & Things is being held this Saturday 17 April  from 9.30am to 4pm at the Coonabarabran Aerodrome.

Matt Hall 2019 Redbull Air Racing Champion is the headline act conducting Joy flights and an Aerial display.

This will be a great day out with Market stalls, Food Stalls and Music. 

Tickets are only $10 per adult, Children 15 and under are free and all proceeds from ticket sales are going to the Volunteer Rescue Association.
