Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.




Gilgandra C.W.A Markets | 1st Saturday of Every Month

Held at Gilgandra Community Plaza in Miller Street. From  9am until 1pm.

New and Pre loved goods | Cakes | Jewellery | Many more various stalls.

Coo-ee Lodge Ladies sell Bacon & Egg Rolls for $5 each.

All stall holders welcome - cost $5.00 per table.

Cumnock Markets | 3rd Saturday of Every Month

From 9:00-12noon at Crossroads Park Cumnock (opposite General Store)

With lots of fabulous country chooks, fresh cakes and biscuits, jams and chutneys as well as stalls with beautiful craft items.

One of the ladies is making cloth masks which she is selling at a reasonable price. Extra stalls are welcome.

Cumnock markets are a registered COVID-Safe organisation and all required protocols will be followed.

Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer 2021

Black Dog Ride's iconic 1 Dayer is a nationwide project to raise awareness against suicide prevention. 

Dubbo's 1 Dayer is held on Sunday 21st March 

7:00am  - Check in at Macquarie Inn, Birch Ave, Dubbo (Enter via Dan Murphy's Driveway) 

9:30am - Stands up on a ride to support the Communities of Binnaway, Coolah and Dunedoo for coffee, fuel & lunch

Please note: ONLINE TICKET SALES ONLY - tickets sales for this event will close at 8:30am AEST on Sunday 1st March.

St Vincent De Paul | Vinnies Volunteers

Your local vinnies is looking for new volunteers.

If you have a passion to make a difference to those in need in your community and have at least 4 hours spare each week, Vinnies would love to hear from you.

You will make new friends, build relationships and acquire new skills but mostly, you will be apart of a community who give those in need a hand-up.

No skills or experience required, you need a non-judgemental attitude and have a good kind heart. Vinnies wil train and mentor you at every stage.

You can assist by: Interviewing and assisting people in need, or helping in the Vinnies shop either serving customers or sorting donated goods.
